The day was bright as Captain Commander Sairi Lockheart watched over Soul Society from atop of the 1st Division Tower. She was enjoying the peaceful times and wondered just how long they could last. It had already been quite some time since a battle had taken place within Soul Society and Sairi could tell that she was long overdue for one.

She took a deep breath taking in all the peacefulness and took another look over the horizon of Seireitei. "It will be a shame for such peacefulness to fade..." She sighed and closed her eyes as the clouds above began to engulf the sky.

Tapered hands, smooth from constant attention and use, lifted towards the sky and raised over a feminine brow to shield their eyes. A smile crossed the face near the hand and a low laugh was heard. She looked over the grounds of the First Division garden and walked towards the grandiose double doors. She thought to herself that the Captain Commander had better be inside and not out, again, doing her own personal matters.

The tapered hands - two this time - raised and pressed again the double doors, pushing forward. As they moved open, the voice boomed loudly, almost in irritation.

"Hey, Captain Commander! Are you in here?" Her voice was low in irritation but raised in question as she looked around the room. Bland as it was she easily found the black and white clad leader.

Sairi turned to see Squad Twelves Captain bursting into her chambers. She could see the frustration on Zaya's face and expected trouble. Sairi sighed taking up an otherwise lazy posture as she crossed her arms. "Well if it isn't the little kitty cat of the 13 court guard squads." Sairi smirked, knowing exactly what buttons to push.

Sairi could tell that this was the moment she was waiting for and took no hesitation in prompting a spur of anger from Zaya. "Sooo, what can I help you with kitten?" Sairi stated as she prepared herself for the worst case scenario. From all the years she had known Zaya, she knew Zaya wasn't the type to be taken lightly.

However she also knew that Zaya was the type to be easily angered. As such, Sairi was sure to poke at the main point of view that would anger Zaya the most, her nekomimi...

The words that struck the irate captain reverberated in her head, back and forth, back and forth. Every syllable made her anger rise higher and higher until it began to peak out. Her frown began to tip up, insidious in it's meaning as her anger began to look like a smile.

That meant certain death - even to those of the Punishment Squad.

"Oh . . Wow, heh. That was joke." She raised both of her hands up, palms facing towards the Commander in a gesture most familiar to 'surrender'. Her gaze was saccharine-sweet as she smiled.

"I guess that means I should laugh, right?" Like a snake striking without warning, her voice dropped into a lethal hiss, dripping with venom.

"Hado #31: Shakkaho!" The resounding call of attack was mirrored by Zaya's raised hand as a flash of red exploded towards the Captain Commander. Thus began their ongoing bout. . . again.
